Republicans Didn't Count on Democrats asking for Separate Meeting with Netanyahu

JUST SAY'n: Hmmm...The Plot Thickens. The Republicans felt real comfy in their arrogant disrespect of President Obama by neglecting to inform him that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would address both houses of Congress early next month. This is the Republican parties' latest pawn gambit to under mind and disrespect both the man and the office of the presidency.

President Obama isn't sweating "Minor League" Rumblings!

JUST SAY'n: Per their MO, the Republicans have been "all in" with their attacks on President Obama the last week. It's pretty obvious that their attacks are meant to stymie the President's recent surge in popularity where his approval rating has risen to its highest levels in 18 months.  For his part, the President has been "business as usual" and given no audience to dignify the petty noise makings of the likes of the former mayor of NYC.  Remember that the Republicans are just months removed from accusing the Democrats from "Distancing" themselves from their greatest resource?

21 Historical Christian Martyrs

JUST SAY'n: Reuters is reporting that On Sunday, the group known as ISIS or the Islamic State released video of what appeared to be 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians being beheaded on a beach in Libya. Those murders have been confirmed by both the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and a spokesman for the Coptic Church.

The Hypocrisy of Forbes Lecturing Chicago West and not the Patriots!

JUST SAY'n: I hadn't intended to read this article in particular. Just doing some background research on the Chicago West Little League baseball team and their having been stripped of the United States championship title. My thoughts were pretty much along the lines of "Well who did they recruit to play with their team...did they line up Ken Griffey Jr. or some college or high school kids?"

Black History Month Was and Remains Relevant!

JUST SAY'n: There is a position that Black History Month marginalizes Black history and the contributions of Black people to one month when it should be included within the total of American or World history. This position has been around for decades, however, it gained significant exposure in 2005 when, on a 60 minutes interview with Mike Wallace, actor Morgan Freeman expressed his displeasure with Black History month by saying that it was ridiculous to limit his history to a month.  In his 2012 release, "More than a Month", filmaker Shukree Hassan Tilghman, again raised the issue of should there be a month only designated to observing Black history, raising the same issues discussed here and alluding to Morgan Freeman as inspiration and support for his position.

Common Ground for Ledisi and Beyonce!

JUST SAY'n: There is a major fuss over what some see as Beyonce "stealing" what should have been Ledisi's performance of "Precious Lord" at Sunday night's Grammy awards.
